The News Feed displays all notes posted to all projects that you are on by all users. Your NoteVault account may have many projects, so the News Feed will only display notes for projects that you are on.
In addition, your project access level may change what you see in the News Feed. If you are a project admin, full access user, or guest access user then you will see notes from other users. If you are a partial access user you will only see your own notes.
What Do the Different Access Levels Mean?
No Access - Project is not visible under active projects list. User will not be able to contribute notes in any way to the project
